This collagen addition acts as a “protective pocket” for the breast implant.
As the Surgimend is made with collagen, this allows for the breast tissue to eventually grow to incorporate with the product and become totally replaced with collagen from your own body. This reconstruction results in the most natural-looking breasts, sometimes enhancing and improving how the natural breasts were prior to surgery.
