Dr. Marisa Vinas, M.D., D.A.B.S.’ impressive educational background includes a postdoctoral fellowship in Burn Surgery at the prestigious Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center’s Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, where she developed her expertise in acute burn care and post-acute burn reconstruction. Additional education includes a postdoctoral fellowship with the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, during which she had intensive training in aesthetics, and for which she is an associate of the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery. Prior to her fellowship years, Dr. Marisa Vinas completed her residency in General Surgery at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, where she honed her surgical skill and developed understanding of essential surgical principles, and for which she is a diplomate of the American Board of Surgery.

Dr. Marisa Vinas focuses her talents on Cosmetic Surgery of the face, breast, and body including post-bariatric surgery. She also specializes in treatments such as surgical and energy-based scar reconstruction, laser therapy, and post-burn-related treatments, offering patients new hope for restoring both function and appearance after trauma or other scarring conditions, including Hidradenitis Suppurativa. Her expertise in soft tissue injury repair and aesthetic burn reconstruction have already made a profound impact on her Cosmetic Surgery and reconstructive patients. Dr Marisa Vinas has helped patients heal physically and regain confidence in their appearance, through her in-depth understanding of anatomy, function of skin and soft tissue.

Dr. Marisa Vinas has joined practices with her father, Plastic Surgeon Dr. Luis A. Vinas, M.D., F.A.C.S., who has been performing Plastic Surgery in the West Palm Beach area for over 30 years. Together, they bring a multifaceted approach to each patient’s care, encompassing aesthetic technique and wound healing principles for the ultimate cosmetic or reconstructive surgery experience.
