L.A. Vinas Medical Spa is proud to offer Lip Flip procedures, done by our certified doctors and Physician Assistant. Lip Flips have become the new trend, helping people achieve beautiful, fuller upper lips instantly. This procedure is done using botox to relax the upper muscle of the lip, causing it to “flip”.
How are lip flips different from lip fillers? The injection is done right above the lip rather than into it. This can produce the more natural look some individuals crave rather than the overly “full” look of lip filler. It is most beneficial for people who show a lot of teeth or even gums when they smile, as it can produce a straighter, more desirable and attractive smile. However, as always we encourage our patients to consult with our licensed aestheticians to determine if the procedure is right for them.
The results of a lip flip are temporary, lasting up to 12 weeks. If you decide that this is the med spa treatment for you, all this means is that you will have to come in quarterly to get it refreshed. The same goes with botox and many of our other procedures. Many folks who originally considered lip filler changed their minds and got a lip flip and insist they are never going back! Again, the results are different for everyone, and a lip flip procedure may not be right for you.
