Luis A. Dr. Viñas has been practicing medicine for 25 years, with 20 years devoted to the practice of plastic surgery. He came to the Palm Beaches with advanced training in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery from Nassau County Medical Center on Long Island, NY. At the Medical Center, Dr. Viñas performed his post-graduate training residency in general surgery, followed by a fellowship in burn care and reconstruction, and finished with a two year plastic surgery fellowship under the tutelage of the prestigious Long Island Plastic Surgery Partners. Dr. Vinas received his undergraduate training at the University of Massachusetts. He pursued his Medical Degree at the Universidad Central del Caribe in Puerto Rico, where his family lived.
For the past eight years, Dr. Viñas has been recognized as a finalist for Heroes in Medicine for his humanitarian surgical missions in Honduras and Peru.
Dr. Viñas is Board Certified by The American Board of Plastic Surgery. His clinical appointments include several Palm Beach-area hospitals, and he maintains memberships in the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Medical Association and Florida Medical Association.
Dr. Viñas, who has been part of the Palm Beach community for 20 years, created the L.A. Viñas Plastic Surgery and Med Spa so he could fully implement his vision of patient care and comfort in a modern environment.
